Health Insurance for Foreign Citizens

All incoming students and staff should purchase health insurance before the start of the mobility period, for the entire duration of their stay in Serbia, and bring a copy of the insurance policy along when they come on mobility. Foreign students and staff do have the obligation to enter the Republic of Serbia with a valid European Health Insurance Card or other Health Insurance policy (bringing from their home country) for the whole period of stay in Serbia.

Health insurance for all mobility goers is mandatory. However, candidates should check whether the health insurance has been provided according to the either the specific type of cooperation under which the mobility is arranged, or on the basis of international agreement on health insurance signed between Serbia and the respective partner country.
