Health and Safety Measures at the University of Belgrade

Following the meeting of the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee regarding the coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) pandemic, held on Thursday 4 May 2023, the WHO Director-General concurred with the advice offered by the Committee regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He determines that COVID-19 is now an established and ongoing health issue which no longer constitutes a public health emergency of international concern.

Nonetheless, with safety in mind, all incoming mobility participants should check the travel advisory issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and relevant health and safety entry requirements published at: https://www.mfa.gov.rs/en/citizens/travel-serbia , before making their trip.

Following the instructions by the relevant authorities, when coming to the University and its respective units, all students and staff attending the University and its member faculties need to respect the following measures undertaken to prevent the spread of any contagious respiratory disease:
- Practice good hand hygiene and coughing etiquette
- Stay at home when feeling ill and contact the relevant authority indicated in your insurance policy or the designated doctor at the Student Policlinic in Belgrade http://zzzzsbg.rs/en/ or http://www.beograd.rs/en/city-authority/1293647-institute-for-student-health-care/

The University of Belgrade will also continue to closely monitor the developments and send out regular updates to our students and staff, both home and international.

Health and safety of the whole academic community is of utmost importance for us and additional precautionary measures will immediately be put in place, if needed.

Be responsible to yourself and to others!
