Scientific Research and Expert Activities

Teachers and associates of the University of Belgrade are the largest part of the scientific potential of the Republic of Serbia. Apart from their research projects whose immediate objective is to improve the system of education and modernize educational process, the University staff implements a considerable number of projects from the republic Programme of Scientific Research and the Programme of Technological Development.

This intensive scientific research results in nearly 300 doctoral theses a year, defended by the young researchers at the faculties of the University.
